Experience Criteria:
A minimum of 2 years work experience as a metal fabrication estimator
Attention to detail and must be extremely organized and committed to safety at all times
Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with customers and staff
Quick thinking, sharp and resourceful
Must know how to read and interpret structural steel drawings
Estimate cost for engineering projects
Estimate materials or labor requirements
Estimate time needed for project
Ability to win jobs and work independent with minimum supervision is highly desirable
Able to multitask and estimate numerous projects simultaneously
Must deal well with fast-paced work flow and deadlines
