Assembly: Will utilize Drill gun, glue gun, measuring tape, and various hand tools to glue on laminate vinyl to wood frame to create booths. Candidate must be able to Lift 15-30LBS and be able to use various had tools, measuring tape and be able to read English. Pay is $16
Upholsterer Responsibilities:
Read and interpret shop drawings. (Training will be provided)
Installing foam and batting to furniture framework or into fabric/leather coverings.
Match designated fabric to furniture framework or seat framework.
Stretching out and installing fabric or leather coverings to furniture framework or seat framework.
Stitching, gluing, and nailing fabric into place.
Smoothing out imperfections.
Perform quality checks to ensure pattern matches are correct, that the fabric layout is correct with the shop drawings and that the finish products look esthetically pleasing.
Seamstress Responsibilities:
seamstress will primarily be sewing fabrics for seats (sofa style) and what we call “back” of the sofa. There is rework involved where the upholsterer tries the sewn fabric. It may need alterations then it is re-sewn and sent back to the upholsterer.
The seamstress will also sew trim accessory that we call welts.
Proven sewing experience.
Sound knowledge of various fabrics and sewing techniques.
Experience sewing together industrial fabrics including vinyl and leather.
